What time of day are you?

Well, I have to copy Rebecca and pass this one on. Since it seemed so accurate for her (she is early morning, I can vouch for that), I had to try it. Not bad.

Here's what I got:

You are twilight. Your exact moment of the day is always changing, because the sun never sets at exactly the same time. You are the romantic moments just after sunset when it's still light enough to see your way around outside, and the sky is a blend of reds, pinks, purples, and blues. At this time of day, the light has a special way of making even rundown buildings looks like works of art. You're like that, too? You're always finding beauty and magic in unexpected places. Not only will you wish on the first star you see, somewhere inside, you actually expect that wish to come true.

Ode to Amelia Rose

In honor of my friend Amelia's 6th birthday today, I am posting some pictures. If you're lucky, I'll post pictures of her birthday party, which will be taking place at my house on Sunday.

She loves the kitties, and they love her....

She loves to hang out with her friends, new friends and old....

Even though you can't see her face, I think this captures her love of dancing

And here's us, playing dress up (me in my hippie clothes from Israel).

Still unpacking, other blogs

Sorry, I've been slow on the posting. Just trying to unpack my house, decide on curtains, find the best coffee shop on Alberta Street, plan my summer, play Scramble on Facebook, and get over this stupid cold. Anyway, Jonah posted a few cool things, first this very important video about negative ads. And some very cute pictures of his girls. Also, Prema posted a particularly beautiful post, and there's really not much to say after that... (But also check out her recent "Wild Horses" post.)

Before, After, and Tracy

Here are some interesting pictures of my house, before and after the fire in 2006....

Slowly but surely, I am getting settled in here. Though I did take a short break from unpacking to hit the road with Tracy for the weekend. If you are anywhere near one of her upcoming shows (Seattle, Vancouver BC, upstate NY, California in April), I recommend you gets tickets immediately. Her show in Portland last Friday was sold out. And if you go to the Seattle show, give my grandmother a hug for me.
